this album is about something so raw and unheard. this taps into my lived experience in a way that most other music in this genre only wishes it could capture. I know that's hokey to say, but with the talent behind it all, it resonates on an entirely other level. thanks for making this. on loop til I see u live (again, this time a fan) shleeb

We are enormous fans of Pinegrove but that feels like an understatement. We are for everything they do from their DIY ethic to our fellow Jersey roots and of course to their musical novelty, more pressingly, their lyricism. I contend there's no current alt/indie project that shares the challenge towards articulation that Evan produces.
Every track is indispensable. The album is consummate like that; Old friends is incomplete without new friends, cadmium without aphasia, so on/so forth.
